On July 4, 2014, Oakbank and Beausejour RCMP executed a CDSA (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act) search warrant at a residence in the community of Garson, Manitoba. RCMP from the Oakbank and Beausejour Detachments along with the Winnipeg Federal Serious and Organized Crime Unit conducted the search.
Marijuana grow operation discovered by RCMP at a Garson, Manitoba, residence.
Police say that a marijuana grow operation was located in the residence and a total of 100 plants were seized.
RCMP report that a 37-year-old female from Garson, Manitoba, was arrested. Charges in relation to possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and production of a controlled substance are pending.
The police investigation is ongoing.
