On July 9, 2014, just after 1pm, Westman RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle collision on Highway 83, north of Melita.
Police investigation showed that a southbound SUV rolled and overturned in the ditch.
Upon responding to the collision, RCMP located an 89-year-old male from Melita, Manitoba, deceased at the scene. He was the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle.
