On May 21, 2009, Boissevain RCMP received a report of a semi rollover at the junction at highway 3 and 10 south of Boissevain.
The vehicle which was southbound on Highway 10 failed to navigate the corner as it was making an eastbound turn on Highway 3 and rollover into the southeast ditch. Boissevain Fire, Rescue and EMS along with RCMP attended the scene and contained the accident site as the semi was transporting a fully loaded tank of anhydrous ammonia. The tank maintained it’s integrity and no leak was detected.
The adult male driver was transported to Boissevain hospital with undetermined non-life threatening injuries.
RCMP continue to investigate the cause of this accident.
