On July 17, 2014, just before 4pm, Prairie Mountain RCMP responded to a report of a fatal farm incident.
Police say that a 57-year-old female, from the RM of Shellmouth, Manitoba, was operating an open cab tractor towing a brush cutter on her farm. It appears she fell from the tractor and was then struck by the brush cutter. She was pronounced deceased on scene.
RCMP report that Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health is assisting with the ongoing investigation and that no foul play is suspected.
