On July 30, 2014, at approximately 5pm, East St. Paul RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 202, just south of Lockport.

Police believe that the vehicle hit the shoulder of the road and rolled. The lone occupant and driver of the vehicle, a 29-year-old male, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased on scene. He was from the RM of St. Clements.

RCMP report that the deceased was not wearing a seatbelt in this incident and at this point, it is not known if alcohol is a contributing factor in the collision.

An RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
