On July 31, 2014, at approximately 1am, Norway House RCMP responded to a report of an attempted youth abduction in the Rossville area of Norway House Cree Nation, Manitoba.
Police say that a 14-year-old girl was walking alone in the area when a lone male in a vehicle approached her and attempted to pull her into the vehicle. The victim was able to get to safety in a nearby residence.
The male is described as fair-skinned, speaking with an accent and wearing a Toronto Maple Leafs hat. The vehicle is a dark colour four-door Dodge pickup truck.
