On August 16, 2014, at approximately 10:15pm, Stonewall RCMP responded to a report of a death at Stony Mountain Institution.
Police say that the death of an adult male, 53-year-old Duane Taylor, was investigated as a homicide and on August 17, 2014, RCMP charged Cordell Charles, 25, with first degree murder.
RCMP report that Cordell Charles will have his first court appearance in Winnipeg on August 19, 2014.
