Just before 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2009, RCMP officers in Dauphin were called to a disturbance on Dunfield Avenue.
Before the officers arrived, the suspects had fled the area. About 1/2 hour later, the 2 suspects were located walking on 4th Avenue S.W. A 23 year old Dauphin woman was arrested for breach of undertaking by drinking. As she was being arrested, she was observed to hand a small package to the male suspect. A search produced a small amount of Cannabis Marijuana. The male was then placed under arrest.
Investigators later determined the male to be on probation. The 21 year old Dauphin man has been released from custody on a promise to appear in Dauphin court on June 2, 2009. The woman has been released from custody on a promise to appear in Dauphin Court on June 16, 2009.
