The City of Steinbach is requesting patron-only parking at the arenas during the construction phase of both the new curling rink and the Steinbach Credit Union.
As fall approaches, the City of Steinbach is gearing up for another busy season at the T.G. Smith Centre. With two immense construction projects taking place near the arenas (a new curling rink facility and the SCU expansion), parking spaces are scarce for arena patrons.
Arena activities will commence this coming week and for this reason, the City kindly requests that parking at the T.G. Smith Centre be limited to patrons and user groups of the arenas. Anyone else should refrain from parking at the lot at the T.G. Smith Centre.
