Cereals Canada is pleased to welcome the Manitoba Wheat and Barley Growers Association (MWBGA) as a new member.
Greg Porozni, Chair of the Board of Directors stated “Cereals Canada brings together a broad and diverse collection of partners from all parts of the cereals sector and across the country. Representation from farmers from all regions is a critical element to our future success. It is very important to us to have the voice of Manitoba growers at our table.”
“The MWBGA is in full support of a collaborative and coordinated approach to a number of major cereal market development and research issues. We support Cereals Canada as the primary organizational vehicle to coordinate and provide leadership on how much of that work gets done,” stated Don Dewar, Chair of MWBGA.
“The Cereals sector in Canada is in a period of transition that presents the industry with a unique opportunity to create the environment that will allow Canada to realize its full potential in international and domestic markets. Cereals Canada was created to seek out opportunities for the entire value chain and fill gaps in industry leadership, market development and innovation strategy.” concluded Porozni.
