On September 5, 2014, Spruce Plains RCMP executed two search warrants in the RM of Odanah and in the Town of Minnedosa.

Police say that the search warrants resulted in the dismantling of an outdoor marihuana grow operation where 327 plants of marijuana plants and approximately two pounds of dry marijuana were seized by police.

RCMP report that David Lyle Hartley, 36, of Minnedosa, was arrested and charged with several offences, including production of marijuana, possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

David Hartley was released and will appear in Minnedosa Provincial Court on September 23, 2014.
