On October 7, 2014, at approximately 4:40pm, The Pas RCMP General Investigation Section executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence on Jebbs Drive in Opaskwayak, Manitoba. The Pas and Opaskwayak RCMP along with The Pas RCMP Police Dog Services assisted with the search.
During the course of the search, police seized a small quantity of marijuana and over $21,000 in Canadian currency.

RCMP report that a 26-year-old female from Opaskwayak was arrested on scene and later released from custody. The female is scheduled to appear in The Pas Provincial Court on December 1, 2014 and is facing charges for possessing marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.
