A Swan River man is facing numerous theft-related charges after being arrested by police earlier this week.
Dating back to July of this year, Swan River RCMP have been investigating numerous local break and enters to businesses. On October 23, 2014, at approximately 5:20am, Swan River RCMP members were conducting surveillance on a number of local businesses, when police observed a lone male committing a business break and enter. A short pursuit on foot occurred with the suspect being apprehended.
The lengthy investigation led RCMP to charge 23-year-old, Tyrel Bjornson, of Swan River, Manitoba. Bjornson is facing numerous theft-related charges.
RCMP Forensic Identification Section is assisting in the ongoing investigation.
