Two Portage residents are facing drug trafficking charges after recently being arrested Portage la Prairie RCMP.

Ecstasy seized by Portage la Prairie RCMP in a drug trafficking investigation.
On October 23, 2014, the RCMP Federal Serious and Organized Crime Unit intercepted a parcel containing illegal drugs destined for a resident of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. As a result of an investigation, with the assistance of Portage la Prairie RCMP, police seized more than 1000 tablets of ecstasy and arrested and charged two individuals.
RCMP report that 34-year-old Kurtis Hancock and 31-year-old Tiffany Sapinski, both of Portage la Prairie, were charged for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Police say that both accused are scheduled to appear in Portage la Prairie Provincial Court on December 1, 2014.
