On November 6, 2014, at approximately 1pm, Steinbach RCMP responded to a collision involving a train and a car. The incident occurred on Provincial Road 210 near La Broquerie, Manitoba.
Police say that the car collided with a CN train on the tracks. The driver of the car, a 44-year-old La Broquerie woman, was transported to hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
An RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist and the CN Police are assisting with the ongoing investigation.
RCMP report that the cause of the collision is not known at this time. Alcohol is not considered a factor in the collision.
