On November 11, 2014, at approximately 7pm, Brandon RCMP responded to a report of a fatality in the RM of Oakland, Manitoba.

Police say that a 36-year-old male from the RM of Oakland had been brought to the local area hospital with injuries sustained in a farm-related incident. The man, while working on a rural property, was struck with a bucket from a tractor, resulting in severe injuries. He was then transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

RCMP report that foul play is not suspected in this incident and that Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
