On May 30, 2009 around 10:00 AM Portage la Prairie RCMP received a report that the MacGregor soccer field and campground had been vandalized and the soccer club’s shed had been broken into.
Police attended and found that the equipment shed had been forced open and undisclosed items had been stolen. No damage estimate has been provided for the damage to the field and shed, but the value of what was stolen is around $2000.
