On November 26, 2014, just before 7am, following a report of a firearm being discharged, Flin Flon RCMP responded to a residence on Centre Street in Flin Flon, Manitoba. Assisting in this incident were Cranberry Portage RCMP and Creighton, Saskatchewan RCMP.
Police were able to apprehend a male suspect without incident and nobody was injured during the discharge of the firearm.
RCMP arrested David Lindsay, 38, of Flin Flon. Lindsay has been charged with careless use of a firearm, discharging a firearm while being reckless and unsafe storage of firearms. He has been released from custody and will appear in Flin Flon Provincial Court at a later date.
