On November 28, 2014, St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP arrested a St. Malo man in connection to a recent armed robbery at a local gas station.
On November 21, 2014, at approximately 7:15pm, St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at the St. Malo COOP gas station. Police say that a lone masked male wielding a knife entered the store and demanded all the money from the till. The culprit stole an undisclosed amount money. There were no injuries reported as a result of the robbery.
Further investigation by the St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP led to the identification of the accused. 19-year-old Nathan Yvon of St. Malo was arrested in connection to this incident.
