On December 6, 2014, Dauphin RCMP executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act warrant at a residence in the Rural Municipality of Dauphin, Manitoba.
Upon entering the residence, officers located more than 1,000 grams of marijuana, approximately 80 grams of cannabis resin, approximately $3,500 in Canadian currency and a .22 caliber rifle.
Police say that the two residents of the home, Jason Derek Elder, 35, and Kristy Carmel Fehr, 32, were taken into custody. Both have been charged with trafficking marijuana, possession of marijuana, careless storage of a firearm and possession of proceeds of crime.
RCMP report that Elder and Fehr will appear in Dauphin Provincial Court on December 16, 2014.
