On December 10, 2014, police intercepted a parcel shipped from Brampton, Ontario, containing illegal drugs destined for a resident of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Methamphetamine seized by RCMP.
As a result of police investigation, Manitoba RCMP Federal Serious and Organized Crime Unit, with the assistance of Peel Regional Police Services, seized approximately eight kilograms of methamphetamine and arrested and charged one individual.
RCMP report that 18-year-old Chaizz Ruf of Winnipeg has been charged for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. Ruf is scheduled to appear in Winnipeg Provincial Court, on January 22, 2015.
