On June 2, 2009 around 8:30 AM Portage la Prairie RCMP received a report of a possible break and enter at the Portage Mall on Saskatchewan Avenue West.
Police attended and confirmed that entry had been made into the mall, as well as into some of the stores inside. RCMP Forensic Identification Section (FIS) attended to assist with the investigation. Undisclosed items were reported stolen, and no damage estimates have been provided.
