The City of Steinbach has developed new applications for businesses operating within city limits, including businesses that are home based.
“There are numerous home based businesses located within city limits,” explains Lacey Gaudet, City Planner for the City of Steinbach, “and the changes to the application allow the City to keep better record of these businesses. Nothing has changed in terms of the City’s policies for operating a home based business. We are simply asking for more detailed information regarding the business operation.”
The City encourages all home based business owners to register as it helps to ensure all businesses are operating within the legal requirements and it promotes a healthy business economy within Steinbach.
