Steinbach RCMP have charged two teens with careless driving in connection to a police investigation regarding a dangerous driving complaint in the community of Mitchell.
On December 30, 2014, Steinbach RCMP received a complaint from an eye witness who observed two males driving dangerously near the Mitchell Middle School area. The drivers were thought to be in their late teens to early 20’s and were operating a white Ford Focus and a black Audi with partial plate number HBX.
Police have since identified both suspects involved in this incident. A charge under the Highway Traffic Act of careless driving have been laid against both 18-year-old drivers. The suspects will be appearing in Steinbach Provincial Court regarding this incident.
