Killarney RCMP have made four arrests connected to a recent robbery that occurred at a local Killarney residence.
On December 26, 2014, at about 1:30pm, Killarney RCMP received a report of a robbery that occurred on December 25, 2014, at about 4am at a residence on Rossmore Avenue in the community of Killarney, Manitoba.
Police investigation revealed that three males forced their way into the residence occupied by a man, woman and child. The three suspects threatened the male homeowner with weapons and got away with an undisclosed amount of money, alcohol and cigarettes. All three suspects were then driven away from the scene in a vehicle by a fourth male. The homeowners were not harmed in this incident.
As a result of police investigation, 28-year-old Cameron Merritt of Boissevain, 29-year-old Zane Hammond of Ninga and 26-year-old Kyle Grossman of Killarney were arrested and will be facing numerous charges. An arrest warrant was issued for 26-year-old Sean-Leo Monchalin of Boissevain. Monchalin later turned himself into the Brandon Police Service on January 15, 2015.
No injuries were reported in the arrest and police continue to investigate.
