Two adults are facing numerous firearms-related charges after being arrested by St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP this past week in Ste. Agathe.
On January 16, 2015, St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP, with the assistance of specialized units from Winnipeg, executed a search warrant on a residence in Ste. Agathe, Manitoba. During the search, two vehicles, several prohibited weapons and eight firearms were seized. The firearms included high-power rifles, handguns, an assault rifle and a sawed-off shotgun. Cocaine and marihuana were also located and seized, along with drug paraphernalia.
RCMP report that as a result of the search warrant, three adults were arrested. One adult female was released without charges. Adrian Meaney, 26, and Haley Marsch, 23, both of Ste. Agathe, are facing 25 charges each.
Police continue to investigate.
