Over the past week, four individuals have been arrested in relation to two armed robberies that occurred in Selkirk, Manitoba in December 2014 and January 2015.
Police say that during the robberies, masked individuals threatened employees with a weapon and made away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
29-year-old Brittney Brink, 31-year-old Steven Pederson and 38-year-old Christian Bird, all of Selkirk, have been arrested and charged with robbery with a weapon in relation to the December robbery. 31-year-old Steven Pederson and Matthew Nelson, both of Selkirk, have been arrested and charged with robbery with a weapon in relation to the January robbery. Pederson has also been charged with personation, uttering threats and carrying a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence.
