The Sainte-Anne Police Auxiliary force, along with regular members of the Sainte-Anne Police Department, raised over $1,200 dollars for Special Olympics.
This past Saturday afternoon the Auxiliary participated in the Polar Plunge along with about a hundred people that pledged to take the plunge in support of Special Olympics Manitoba.
“Our Auxiliary is committed to helping not only the police, but the community at large,” says Chief Robichaud. “Not only do they patrol with officers, but they help at community events and fundraisers. Last year the 15 auxiliaries volunteered over 4,000 hours.”
