On February 8, 2015, shortly after 6pm, Central Plains RCMP received a report of an armed robbery at a business on the Trans-Canada Highway at MacGregor, Manitoba.
Initial police investigation shows that two males entered the business with their faces covered and brandishing what appeared to be a firearm. The suspects made away with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
Police also discovered that two more males were involved in providing transportation for the initial two suspects involved directly in the robbery.
Shortly after the robbery, police were able to locate and arrest three of the four suspects. 20-year-old Nicholas Alexander of Portage la Prairie, 18-year-old Keanan Lamb of MacGregor and a 17-year-old male youth of the RM of North Norfolk. All are facing numerous charges related to the armed robbery. One male 17-year-old youth from MacGregor is still wanted by RCMP.
