On February 21, 2015 at approximately 5:30am, Portage RCMP responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The accident occurred at Long Plains First Nation, Manitoba.

Police say that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

RCMP report that alcohol is considered a factor in this incident and that the investigation is ongoing.
