At approximately 12:30am on February 25, 2015, Morris RCMP responded to a report of a house fire approximately 2 kms from the community of Kane.
Police say that there were initially eight people in the two-story home. A 34-year-old woman was able to escape the home along with three children. Unfortunately, four other children in the top story of the home were unable to be rescued.
RCMP and the Office of the Fire Commissioner are continuing with the ongoing investigation.
