The Federal Government is providing total funding of $24,000 over two years ($12,000 per year) to the Steinbach Arts Council for its 2015-16 and 2016-17 Concert Show Series. This funding is being provided through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund of the Department of Canadian Heritage. Ted Falk, Member of Parliament for Provencher, made this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

“I am pleased to announce funding for the Steinbach Arts Council and to assist them in enhancing the cultural vitality of this city and the Southeast Region through its programming,” said Falk. “Thanks to this organization, residents of Steinbach and surrounding areas have access to professional cultural experiences right in their own community.”
