On March 6, 2015, at approximately 8:30am, St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP responded to a report of a house fire in the community of St. Adolphe in the RM of Ritchot. Police and the local fire department also attended the scene.

Police say that no one was inside the residence at the time of the fire and no injuries have been reported. The residence, a story and a half home with attached garage, sustained extensive damage and is considered a total loss.

RCMP report that the cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed and a value of loss has not been determined. The Office of the Fire Commissioner is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
