On March 6, 2015, at approximately 10pm, Arborg RCMP were dispatched to a fatal snowmobile collision approximately two miles north of Arborg at the intersection of Road 132N and PR 326.

Police say that the collision involved a westbound snowmobile colliding with a Dodge van traveling south on PR 326. The 52-year-old driver of the snowmobile died a as result of the collision and the two occupants of the Dodge van did not sustain any injuries.

RCMP report that alcohol is not suspected to be a factor, though weather may have been a contributing factor in the collision.
