The City of Steinbach has announced spring road weight restrictions which will commence on March 16, 2015.
Your attention is drawn to the Temporary Spring Roadway Weight Restrictions which will commence on March 16, 2015 (6:00 am) and will continue until June 12, 2015 or until further notice. Spring Weight Restrictions are posted on all gravel and asphalt surfaced streets in order to avoid roadway damage during the spring thaw period.
A load restriction of 65% of the normal legal axle loadings is posted on applicable Steinbach streets, as road conditions require.
The City’s Community Services Officer will be monitoring truck activity within Steinbach. The 65% of Normal Axle Load rules will be applied, enforced and fines issued to violators accordingly.
