On March 27, 2015, at approximately 9pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision on the Trans-Canada Highway just west of Highway 13.
Police say that a military vehicle, that was part of a convoy, was traveling westbound when it slid off the road and the front end went off the edge of a bridge. There were two male occupants in the vehicle and both were transported to local hospital with minor injuries.
RCMP report that road conditions were icy at the time. Alcohol is not considered a factor in the collision.
