On June 7, 2009 at approx 6:10 PM Neepawa RCMP were called to the scene in the RM of Rosedale, where a 12 year old boy had fallen off his bike while performing jumps in his yard.

The boy was unresponsive and the family were administering CPR and first aid. Police and ambulance continued to perform CPR on the youth while he was being transported to Neepawa Health Center. Shortly after his arrival  he was pronounced dead.  

The youth was not wearing a helmet at the time of this incident.  The name of the victim is not being released.
