On April 4, 2015, at approximately 6pm, Rossburn RCMP responded to an armed robbery at a business on Main Street in Rossburn, Manitoba.
Police say that three masked suspects entered the business armed with what appeared to be a firearm and knives. The three fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Witnesses were able to assist police with the direction the suspects fled. Assisted by Dakota Ojibway Police Service, Rossburn RCMP located and arrested three male youths just east of town shortly after the incident. All three youths are residents of Waywayseecappo First Nation.
RCMP report that a pellet gun and two knives were recovered as well as the stolen property. A 15-year-old youth and two 13-year-olds were arrested and will be facing numerous charges including armed robbery.
