On April 14, 2015, at approximately 1:30am, Lac du Bonnet RCMP responded to a house fire in the Town of Lac du Bonnet.
Upon arrival, police noted that the house upriver of the original home had caught fire. The family living in the original home, two adult females and one female youth, were able to escape the fire without injuries. The second house was not occupied. A third home, downriver of the original home, received minimal damage.
RCMP report that at this time, the fire does not appear suspicious in nature. The RCMP and Office of the Fire Commissioner continues to investigate.
