On April 21, 2015, at approximately 10:15am, Ste. Rose RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 5 and Provincial Road 480.
Police say that a westbound pickup truck collided with a southbound minivan at the intersection.
The 68-year-old male driver of the pickup truck, from Ste. Amelie, suffered non-life threatening injuries. The 42-year-old male driver of the minivan, from Brandon, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. Both drivers were transported to Winnipeg hospital.
RCMP report that alcohol and road conditions are not considered factors in this collision. An RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist attended the scene and is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
