On April 23, 2015, Thompson RCMP, RCMP Police Dog Service and the RCMP Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team were led by investigation to search a residence on Martin Bay in Thompson, Manitoba. Police seized a quantity of marijuana, a large sum of cash and various drug paraphernalia.
As a result of the investigation, RCMP arrested 19-year-old Brandon Crait Thompson. He has been charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds obtained by crime. Thompson was released from custody to appear in Thompson Provincial Court during the month of May.
RCMP report that two male youths, 14 and 13, from Thompson, were also arrested and charged with breach of probation. They were released from custody.
