On May 2, 2015, at about 9:30pm, Sprague RCMP received a report of someone driving impaired and carelessly using a firearm.
Officers from Sprague and Steinbach RCMP detachments responded to a rural property in the RM of Piney and witnessed a man shooting a firearm. Police noted that it did not appear that the man was shooting at anyone or anything in particular.
RCMP report that Gregory Vincent, a 48-year-old RM of St. Clements man, was arrested and charged with numerous items including careless use of a firearm.
Vincent was remanded into custody and recently appeared in Winnipeg Provincial Court.
