On May 21, 2015, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a break and enter that had occurred on the same day between 7:30am and 7pm in the RM of Ste. Anne.
Police say that two thousand dollars worth of items were stolen from the residence including jewellery, alcohol, and electronics. A box containing cremated ashes was also stolen during the break and enter and the family is desperately seeking the help of the public to have the ashes returned as soon as possible. The family had intentions of burying the ashes in mid July.
