On June 18, 2015, at approximately 10:30am, St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP responded to a plane crash on farmland north of Highway 205 East in the RM of De Salaberry, Manitoba.
When police arrived on scene, a 59-year-old male from the RM of Hanover was found deceased. Police say that he was the lone occupant of the ultralight aircraft.
RCMP report that foul play is not suspected in this incident and that the Transportation Safety Board of Canada has been made aware of this occurrence.
