On June 23, 2015, at approximately 10am, Falcon Beach RCMP conducted a traffic stop for speeding on the Trans Canada Highway in the RM of Reynolds, Manitoba.
During the initial investigation, police believed the occupants were in possession of a controlled substance. A search of the occupants revealed forty grams of both MDMA and MDA (ecstasy). Police also located a small quantity of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.
RCMP report that the driver of the vehicle, a 21 year-old male, was issued a common offense notice for speeding and a 22-year-old female passenger, from Saskatoon, was charged for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act. She is scheduled to appear in Steinbach court on September 3rd, 2015.
