On August 8, 2015, shortly before 2am, Swan River RCMP attended a residence on Main Street in Swan River in response to a report of a residential fire.
Officers arrived at the scene and found the residence fully engulfed in flames. The body of a 64 year-old male, identified as the lone resident of the home, was located inside.
D Division RCMP Major Crime Services and Swan River RCMP are investigating this case with the assistance of the Office of the Fire Commissioner.
