On August 15, 2015, Whitemouth RCMP received a report of a suspicious male who was taking photographs of children at the Nutimik Lake Campground public beach.
RCMP subsequently located the male who was identified as 33-year-old David Thomas Pearson of Winnipeg. Pearson was on release with undertaking conditions including not to possess a computer and not to use or possess any electronic device capable of accessing the internet. On his person were both a smartphone and a tablet with internet capabilities. A laptop computer was also visible in Pearson’s car.
RCMP report that David Thomas Pearson was arrested for breaching his conditions. He has been charged with three counts of failing to comply with the conditions of an undertaking and currently remains in custody.
