Following the initial police investigation into a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred this past August in Swan River, Jackson Dewey Lund of BC is facing a number of charges related to the incident.
The fatal collision occurred on August 31, 2015 at approximately 4:45pm where a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided at the intersection of 4th Avenue and Main Street in Swan River.
Lund, a 23-year-old Kelowna British Columbia man, is facing charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death and operation of a vehicle while over 80 mg% blood alcohol level causing death. Both offences are under the Criminal Code of Canada.
The investigation is ongoing.
