On September 28, 2015 at approximately 4pm, members of the Blue Hills RCMP received a report of a serious collision between a semi transport truck and a vehicle at the intersection of PR 351 and Highway 1.
Officers and emergency personnel attended the location. Due to the nature of the incident, STARS air ambulance attended and transported a 64-year-old male to HSC in critical condition. He was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
An RCMP Traffic Analyst is assisting the investigation in order to establish the contributing factors to the collision.
