On October 2, 2015, around 9am, The Pas RCMP received a report of a man carrying what appeared to be a rifle, walking towards the outskirts of town.
Police say that a local school was locked down for a short period of time to ensure everyone’s safety, however it has since resumed normal activities.
The male is described as Aboriginal and was wearing dark clothing, described as a blue sweater with a ball cap.
The investigation is ongoing and officers continue their search in the area.
